Let’s make it clearer.

Start with a small, clear task.

How do I find files taking up space?

Open My space, choose a drive or folder and inspect that location. Review the results and the proposed action before making any file changes. A large or old file is not automatically safe to delete.

How do I review duplicate files?

Use Review matching copies. Compare the evidence and decide which files to keep. Check that you have the originals and backups you need before approving removal.

How do I combine folders?

Open Combine folders and choose the sources and destination. Inspect the proposed merge and conflict decisions. Approve the plan only after reviewing the destination and affected files.

What about cloud and network files?

WhimRoom can work with supported folders and drives available through Windows. Provider access, online-only files and network availability can affect what is readable. Review the reported coverage; an unavailable location is not an empty one.

How does an assistant connect?

Optional MCP uses a local standard-input/output connection to a compatible client. Configure approved folders and review the requested tools in WhimRoom. File changes require native review; connecting an assistant does not approve deletion.

Paths, metadata and requested document text can be returned to the connected assistant. Its provider’s processing and retention policies then apply. See the privacy notice before connecting.

Where can I download WhimRoom?

The Microsoft Store release is in preparation. There is no public Store download on this page yet. Contact us for release information.
